I was caught recently by a fellow blogger using some comical quotes in one of my posts about this educational theory research video. I’d comment about it again but I’d rather just declare a truce, for now anyway.

Maybe my kind of off beat humor is just a New Jersey thing or something. We New Jersians are just so used to getting ribbed by New Jersey jokes that perhaps we just look at things a little bit more lightheartedly.

Recently, in response to a scandal involving diploma mill degrees that I had commented about here, fellow New Jersian , Senate President Richard J. Codey, D-Essex is quoted in a local paper as comparing administrators with bogus degrees who insist upon using doctoral titles as,

“about the equivalent of Colonel Sanders claiming he has real military experience”

The quote is hysterical and I have to appreciate a humorous approach to heated subjects, they just add fun to the drama.
